Boat Hoist Grease
The Boat Hoist Grease is an NLGI #2 grade of grease. Fortified with additives to protect against rust, corrosion, oxidation, and wear. BH-USA hoist grease is a non-melting, custom-built grease that protects even against saltwater. The oxidation stabilization keeps the oil and other organic components from becoming rancid, increasing shelf life. Extreme pressure properties provide the lubricant to prevent galling. The usable temperature range of 0 °F to 350°F.Works great for kingpins, ball joints, bearings, slides, gears, universal joints, and screws. Red-colored grease. 14 1/2 oz. pull tab tube.
NLGI #2 grade
The most commonly used greases, such as those used in automotive bearings, would use a lubricant that is NLGI grade 2, which has the stiffness of peanut butter. Grades within this range can operate in a higher temperature range and at higher speeds than NLGI grades 000-0. Greases for bearings are typically NLGI grades 1,2, or 3.
