Flat-Plate to A-Drive Hoist Hanger Upgrade Kit

The Flat-Plate to A-Drive Hoist Hanger Upgrade Kit is recommended for center mounting on wood beams. The drive pipe slides over the hoist sleeve and bolts into the driveshaft. Additional drilling into the drive pipe may be required.

The hoist hanger mounts to a wood beam or wood joist with (2) 1/2 in. mounting holes on the square end of the hanger plate. Used for upgrading your hoist from a flat-plate boat hoist to a direct-drive boat hoist. It follows the same mounting hole pattern as a flat-plate boat hoist.

Made out of steel. Laser-cut mounting holes. Two coatings, hot-dipped galvanized or powder-coated silver. The hanger plate follows industry-standard flange mounting guidelines. Allows easy adjustment to drive pipe supports already mounted.

Kit Includes:

(1) A-drive hoist hanger plate
(1) A-drive 40:75 driveshaft (depending on ID size)
(4) 1/2 in. x 1 1/2 in. hex head bolts
(8) 1/2 in. stainless steel flat washers
(4) 1/2 in. lock washers
(4) 1/2 in. stainless steel nuts

Installation:

When installed at the industry-standard vertical mounting, the mounting holes line up where the flat-plate boat hoist use to be. Horizontally mounting will require drilling extra holes in the wood beams to accommodate.

Please note that BH-USA supplies with all A-Drive drive shafts a GR5 hardened bolt to attach the drive pipe to the shaft. Only use the bolt provided by BH-USA, if you lose this bolt you must order another one from BH-USA Item 82011FA. Do not use any other bolt, by doing so the bolt may shear dropping your boat.
