A-Drive 40:90 Double Worm Reducer
The A-Drive 40:90 Double Worm Reducer Gearbox is a direct-drive gearbox designed with a double worm gear reducer. Featured on the 7,000 lb boat hoist of the A-Drive series. The 7,000 lb A-Drive boat hoist is powered by a 1 1/2 HP wired motor.
The gearbox housing is made of solid aluminum with a marine-grade finish. The gearbox ratio is 450:1. This gearbox includes bronze-on-steel gears. The enclosed gears are permanently lubricated with BH-USA gear grease. No leaks are guaranteed. Includes cast flange mount for the output shaft. Stainless steel fasteners are used.
This gearbox works on both overhead boat lifts and pile mount boat lifts, provided that the appropriate mounting plate is used. Attaching the direct drive boat hoist to the boat lift drive pipe requires a hardened output driveshaft.
The hardened driveshaft is not included with the reducer gearbox.
